Four scientists from the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology (UKCEH) appear on this year’s Highly Cited Researchers 2022 list.

Names on the annual global list, produced by analytics company Clarivate, are drawn from papers that rank in the top one per cent by citations for scientific field and publication year, thereby demonstrating significant research influence among their peers.

The four named UKCEH scientists, who were also recognised last year, are ecologist Professor James Bullock, microbial ecologist Dr Rob Griffiths, climate modeller Dr Chris Huntingford and macroecologist Dr Nick Isaac.

Professor Bullock, Dr Griffiths and Dr Huntingford are recognised for the impact of their cross-field research, while Dr Isaac appears in the Environment and Ecology category,

In total, almost 7,000 researchers from around the world appear on the Highly Cited Researchers 2022 list, which is available on the Clarivate website.
