ROBIN Phase II focuses on growing and strengthening the global reference hydrological network. Building on the foundations of Phase I, this next phase aims to:

  • Expand country participation, especially in underrepresented regions like Africa, Asia, and Latin America

  • Identify and integrate new natural or near-natural stations into the ROBIN dataset

  • Promote data-sharing and collaboration with national hydrological services and international partners

  • Enhance the quality and accessibility of hydrological indicators and tools

  • Enable scientific analyses and policy-relevant applications using the ROBIN database
