Professional summary

As a project manager, with experience in working in the private, public and charitable sectors, specifically in marketing and business development, Victoria aims to enable researchers to deliver high quality impact science projects in UKCEH, with a particular interest in the pathway from science to policy, through effective stakeholder engagement including ongoing communication, listening and collaboration.

Since joining UKCEH in 2017, Victoria has had the opportunity to be involved with research projects and initiatives having been responsible for organising and delivering high quality events such as workshops and conferences in the UK and internationally, to enable knowledge exchange, community building and strengthening with stakeholders in research, government and industry. She is currently managing UK-SCAPE  and Hydro-JULES as well as sitting on the secretariat of the WMO Hydro-SOS and the National Hazards Partnership. She is also very keen to encourage public engagement with the research undertaken at UKCEH and has developed a number of education packs with the British Science Association to engage school children with Hydrology and land surface science through their Crest Awards programme, as well as creating associated activities that have been taken to UK science festivals.
