Brief CV

I lead the CEH application development group and am responsible for implementing CEH’s Environmental Data Centre (EIDC). I provide strategic direction for environmental information and related ICT development within CEH and identify, initiate and manage informatics research to increase CEH’s capability to exploit its scientific information. I also initiate collaborations across NERC and with external partners to ensure CEH’s informatics activities are aligned with and capitalize on other national and international activities.
