Professional summary

Ezra joined UKCEH after completing his PhD studies in Environmental Chemistry at the University of Edinburgh. His PhD research involved analysing the molecular and microbial composition of blanket bog peat in response to drainage and drain-blocking. During his PhD he worked with large metagenomic and metabolomic datasets, which sparked his passion for data science.

He is interested in applying machine learning algorithms to solve environmental data problems. He is also passionate about learning and teaching the mathematical concepts that underpin data science.
