UKCEH plays an active role in the development of national and international monitoring standards for hydrometry through our roles in the British and European Standards Committees. In recent years, UKCEH experts have led development of standards on hydrometric data management and rainfall monitoring, ensuring that the monitoring knowledge that we have developed through our research projects helps to inform wider best practice within the community.
