Statement by the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology:

We grieve the deaths of those who have lost their lives to racism and stand against racism in all its forms.

We believe that we have a duty to understand the issues and challenges facing us, to engage and show solidarity with our colleagues, and to play our part in eradicating racism.

We will review our structures, partnerships and practices to see if they are appropriate for tackling racism. We will strive to address the barriers and discrimination faced by black people.

Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity Policy sets out our commitment to creating an inclusive working culture.

UKCEH also endorses the statement of UKRI, our principal funder, on Black Lives Matter.
