CEH's Bangor research site is based in the Environment Centre Wales (ECW), an environmentally-friendly building funded by means of a partnership between the Natural Environment Research Council and Bangor University. CEH’s terrestrial and freshwater science is world-class with citations over 162,340 times during 2006-2016. The research impact from CEH of these publications is above the world average and higher than any other research organisation in Wales in our fields of expertise. From A55 and A5, follow A5122 to towards the Menai Bridge. CEH at Bangor is on the right, opposite and just past the University Library. From Caernarfon, follow A4087, take first left after railway bridge, then first right at traffic lights into Deiniol Road.
Bangor railway station is 200 metres from CEH at Bangor. The hourly service to London Euston takes about four hours.
Local buses are run by Arriva.
