Professional summary

Eilidh is an ecologist with experience in botanical identification, vegetation surveying, and data analysis. She is interested in the effects of environmental change on vegetation, particularly lichens and bryophytes. Her MSc thesis involved the development of a novel method to streamline IUCN Red List assessments using climate modelling and habitat analysis to assess species as a guild. She has also contributed to an updated lichen Red List for Great Britain, analysing modelled population trends.

She is currently an environmental ecologist working on the Atmospheric Composition Change team, monitoring nitrogen air pollution and it's effects on peatland and woodland vegetation.
