Dr. Richard Holliday

Richard is Head of Research Contracts, IP & Commercialisation, responsible for the development of new commercial products and services from UKCEH research capabilities and outputs, maximising the impact of our research and innovation. He attends UKCEH Enterprise Limited Board meetings and also has overarching responsibility for our Research Contracts and Licensing & IPR teams.

Richard has a background in university technology transfer and IP commercialisation, including at Oxford University where he led a team licensing intellectual property and building spin-out ventures across the engineering, materials and chemistry departments. Other previous posts include leading the entrepreneurship strategy at the Royal Society of Chemistry and Chief Operating Officer for an Oxford University spin-out company.
