Professional summary

Rishma's current research interest includes the formulation of cutting-edge strategies for water resources management, aimed at mitigating the impacts of hydro-climatic extremes. She is also exploring the applications of advanced technologies and modelling techniques to address various water-related challenges with precision and effectiveness.

Rishma has over seven years of experience in hydrology and water resources management in the UK and overseas, including India and Latin America. Her focus is on surface and ground water modelling, climate extremes such as flood and drought analyses and development of policy frameworks and decision support tools.

Rishma's research focus includes the formulation of innovative water resources management strategies to minimize the impacts of hydro-climatic extremes, the use of advanced technologies and modelling techniques to deal with water issues, and more. As a Water Resources Hydrologist at UKCEH, Rishma is currently contributing to NERC funded project PACIFIC and EU funded project GOVAQUA.
