Professional summary

Daniel is a Data Manager in the Digital Research group, interested in workflow design, process development and quality assurance as part of data management. He also has interests in development and use of controlled vocabularies and linked data approaches to facilitate data integration and interoperability, and is a proponent of the FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable) data principles. 

Prior to working at UKCEH, Daniel worked in ecological research, with particular focus on aboveground-belowground interactions, and is a qualified teacher.
