Work structure
Focussed on West Africa, with particular emphasis on the Sahel, the project is built around the 3 FCFA Pillars that include
- a process-based model evaluation
- the integration of climate information into decision-making and
- the cooperation with local stakeholders to apply climatic knowledge for improving the resilience of agriculture.
Institutions
AMMA-2050 profits from robust and long-standing research collaborations between African and international partners, spanning physical and socio-economic research fields and 16 partnering organisations.
