Dr. Richard Holliday

Richard is Head of New Ventures, responsible for the development of new spinout businesses from UKCEH research capabilities and outputs. He has a background in university technology transfer and IP commercialisation, including at Oxford University where he led a team licensing intellectual property and building spin-out ventures across the engineering, materials and chemistry departments. Other previous roles have included leading the entrepreneurship strategy at the Royal Society of Chemistry and Chief Operating Officer for an Oxford University spin-out company. Richard is a Visiting Fellow at the climate tech accelerator Zinc and a Mentor-in-Residence at the University of Sheffield.
