Speciality: Saltmarsh restoration, inter-tidal habitat surveys (sediments, invertebrates, shore birds). Coastal ecologist focusing primarily on inter-tidal habitat restoration particularly; sediment dynamics; site development and the colonisation by flora and fauna; and assessing the success of restoration. Experienced at saltmarsh and inter-tidal habitat surveys. First degree was in Geography (University of Derby). Studied for an MSc (part time) in Ecology and Management of the Natural Environment at the University of Bristol.
