CEH is leading a ten member, multi-disciplinary consortium supporting evidence requirements across the Defra Water Availability and Quality (WAAQ) and Floods Directorates.
Using a highly flexible Managed Service Provision contract, CEH and its partners have been able to develop new rigorous, and highly cost effective evidence review methods, and to demonstrate these improved review methods in support of current policy issues.
Through this contract Defra has been able to demonstrate its leadership in accessing best available science and delivering this in immediately useable form to policymakers.
