CEH is seeking feedback on its science strategy for the five-year period 2008-2013, `Integrated Science for Our Changing World', which it is planning to launch in Spring 2008.

In line with its role as a world-class centre of excellence in the terrestrial, aquatic and atmospheric environmental sciences, CEH will continue to explore the complex and fundamental issues which fall within its scientific remit, detecting the causes and impacts of environmental change and providing workable solutions.

The core of the new strategy – which has been developed to contribute directly to the overall strategic objective set out in the Natural Environment Research Council’s 2007-2012 strategy, 'Next Generation Science for Planet Earth' – is contained in six high-level scientific challenges and associated deliverables. These challenges and deliverables are outlined on pages 2, 5 and 6 of the draft strategy.

We welcome your comments on our proposed strategy and, in particular, on the high-level challenges and deliverables and their relevance to your own scientific research and/or that of your organisation.
