This presentation by Dr Oliver Pescott of the Centre for Ecology & Hydrology gives an overview of the collaborative National Plant Monitoring Scheme (NPMS), including its development and first year of operation.
This presentation was delivered to staff at CEH in March 2016. The NPMS is a habitat-based plant monitoring scheme designed by the Botanical Society of Britain and Ireland, the Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, Plantlife and the Joint Nature Conservation Committee. It will provide an annual indication of changes in plant abundance and diversity.
