Dr. Michael Greenop

Michael is the spectroscopy specialist in the microplastics team at UKCEH, using infrared spectroscopy to survey particles extracted from environmental samples in the UKCEH microplastics facility. Providing wider analytical support to internal and external UKCEH partners as manager of the UK Centre for Multimodal Correlative Microscopy and Spectroscopy (CoreMiS) facility, the only environmentally dedicated RISE-EDS and Fluorescence Light Microscopy (RISE-EDS-LM) system in the world.
