About the role
We are looking for a Policies and Property Manager to join our Facilities and Operational Services team on a 12 months fixed term contract.
You will provide advice and guidance to the Head of Facilities & Operational Services on all aspects of the Governance & Ownership project as CEH moves towards independence from UKRI. This will focus on developing policies and procedures for the Facilities team and land and property management for CEH.
You will provide business and administrative support to asset management and the development and implementation of the estates strategy. In addition, you will give guidance on land and property services for the CEH Estate in relation to acquisition disposal, lease, licencing and letting. This includes responsibility for maintenance and of updating legally binding property occupancy contracts and estates management information. You will also research and manage the development and implementation of the facilities policies and procedures.
You will be able to work independently with minimal supervision, communicating with line managers when needed. You will also be able to work effectively as part of a team, taking the lead as and when appropriate and have the ability to manage a changing workload of long and short terms tasks.
You will have the ability to identify areas for improving efficiencies and savings and adapt positively to change whilst encouraging others to overcome difficulties.
