Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, OxfordCEH's Oxford site is situated in the centre of the city, close to many of the University departments. The research carried out at Oxford is part of the CEH-wide Science Programme, covering the fields of Biodiversity, Water and Biogeochemistry, supported by the Environmental Information Data Centre. Work at Oxford focuses on research and development projects in all aspects of environmental microbiology and virology. DirectionsBy road: Oxford is close to the M40 (London-Birmingham) and about 30 miles north of the M4. CEH Oxford has very limited parking space. There is also a frequent coach service from London Victoria (X90 and Oxford Tube). By rail: Oxford is a main-line station, accessible from all parts of the country. CEH Oxford is a 10-15-minute walk from the station, or you can take a bus to the High Street or a taxi. |
