EDCAT 1: Programme Co-ordination

The purpose of the EDCAT-1 project is to:

  1. provide overall scientific and financial coordination for the

  2. ensure that the results of the programme are effectively reported to the various stakeholders, including the Steering Group which will be composed of a representative of each funding agency and each participating institute.

Objectives

  • To track expenditure of all EDCAT projects and report financial outturns to the funding agencies at whatever frequency they require.
  • To attend meetings of the programme steering group.
To compile an annual report to the funding agencies, and a final report at the end of Phase 1 in 2008.
  • To prepare a published final report in non-technical language of the programme’s key results.
  • To coordinate contacts between the programme and the media, and disseminate programme information via the internet.
  • To coordinate the production of papers for publication in the scientific literature and for presentation at scientific meetings.
