CEH Programme Development Group
The Programme Development Group (PDG) is responsible for maintaining an on-going review of the quality of science (research, survey and monitoring) undertaken within the CEH Science Programmes. The PDG meets the CEH Director and the Science Directors approximately twice a year to evaluate the performance of each Science Programme against its objectives.
Terms of reference
- To advise on the CEH Science Strategy and the development of CEH Science Programmes over five years.
- Annually, to review the whole and/or selected parts of the Programme.
- To assess the scientific credibility of CEH Programmes, identifying significant changes required to Programme content and structure.
- To assess the success in meeting the Programme's specific objectives for the reporting year.
- To report to the CEH Advisory Committee and consider stakeholder needs.
