European Aquatic Plants Taxa List

CEH is hosting an interactive list of aquatic plants and associated organisms found in European freshwaters.

This list is meant for researchers into ecology of macrophytes (plants and other large photosynthetic organisms) in lakes and rivers across Europe. It enables researchers from different countries and regions to express their data in a common form and therefore enable compilation and comparison across the EU.

Access to the taxa list is open to all, just follow the links to download a file in a comma delimited format (csv), which you can open in a text editor or spreadsheet software.

 

The list has been compiled by CEH staff and other European partners as part of the EU projects WISER (7th Framework Programme, contract no. 226273) and REBECCA (6th Framework Programme, contract no. 502158).
