| FEH CD-ROM | The Flood Estimation Handbook (FEH) gives guidance on rainfall and river flood frequency estimation in the UK. Catchment descriptors for ungauged sites are supplied on the CD-ROM. Data is available for all sites on drainage paths in mainland Britain, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Wight and Anglesey, which have a catchment area of at least 0.5 km2. The CD-ROM also holds catchment average values of the six rainfall depth-duration-frequency model parameters (FEH Volume 2) for the same locations. |

| ReFH | A new lumped conceptual rainfall-runoff model, the Revitalised Flood Hydrograph (ReFH) model has been developed for modelling flood events. The ReFH model is based on robust hydrological modelling techniques and is considered to be an improvement over the existing FSR/FEH model. It enables a more direct and transparent description of flood-generating mechanisms and introduces the concept of seasonal variation in soil moisture content, design rainfall and baseflow. |
