How to order print copies of CEH Publications
A limited number of print copies of some of our publications are available to order. Some of these, in particular the range of provisional atlases from the Biological Records Centre, carry a cover price but many are free of charge. You will be advised if stock is available to fulfil your order before any payment is processed.
Payment options
At the moment we cannot fulfil orders online but payment can be made by cheque in Sterling (made payable to Natural Environment Research Council) or by credit/debit card.
If paying by cheque, simply send this, along with your order details, to the address below.
If you wish to pay by credit/debit card please be prepared to supply your telephone number and most convenient time of the day to be contacted: a member of our accounts team at the Shared Services Centre in Swindon will need to contact you directly to process your card details.
Please be sure to state clearly the title of the publication you are ordering, including volume number if appropriate. Also, please include a contact email address and telephone number with all correspondence.
Pricing and postage
A flat rate postage and packaging charge of £3.50 will be added to book orders, regardless of the number of books in the order. (A P&P charge does not apply if requesting only publications that do not carry a cover price.)
Please note that prices quoted in printed catalogues and internet pages are liable to change without prior notice. Value Added Tax (VAT) is not charged on sales of books, but is included in the P&P charge.
Delivery
Goods will be despatched by the most cost-effective means (which may be the Royal Mail or a courier) and normally within five working days of receiving payment (if applicable) for your order. Please allow five days for delivery in the UK, seven days in the EU and up to 30 days elsewhere. If your order is delayed beyond this time please contact us using the details below.
Back orders
If your item is not in stock or out of print, we will contact you to let you know and give you the option of cancelling your order. Please ensure your order is accompanied by telephone or email contact details to allow us to get in touch with you if necessary.
