This Atlas summarises information on the occurrence of 22 selected species of ticks from the two families (Ixodidae and Argasidae) known from Britain and Ireland. It includes distribution maps, species accounts and records of host animals, based on the nucleus of data collated by the late Gordon Thompson during the 1960s.
