Centre for Ecology & Hydrology publishes Delivery Plan, 2008-2013 - 15 December 2008
After consultation with stakeholders and interested parties, CEH today publishes its Delivery Plan which outlines how we will address the scientific challenges and organisational goals set out in ‘Integrated Science for Our Changing World’, our Science Strategy for 2008-2013.
Our Science Strategy was successfully launched earlier in 2008 at an event held at the Royal Society, London. Our challenges received explicit support from Professor John Beddington, Chief Scientific Adviser to Her Majesty’s Government, as well as an acknowledgement, echoed by the audience, that it is vitally important that we meet those challenges.
The CEH Delivery Plan sets out how we intend to meet the scientific challenges and organisational goals outlined in our Science Strategy. The Delivery Plan, developed by staff across the organisation, has now been considered by our external stakeholders. The Delivery Plan has evolved as a result of this positive and informative feedback.
The CEH Delivery Plan is published today and will directly influence the generation of the annual Operating Plan and most importantly the deliverables that it contains.
This Delivery Plan is a working document. It will evolve as CEH continues to remain responsive to our stakeholders’ scientific requirements and research trends within the wider academic community.
