CEH is seeking feedback on its Delivery Plan, which outlines how we will address the scientific challenges and organisational goals set out in ‘Integrated Science for Our Changing World’, our Science Strategy 2008-2013. In line with our role as a world-class centre of excellence for integrated science in terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems, we will continue to focus on complex and fundamental environmental issues which fall within our scientific remit.
Our Science Strategy was successfully launched in Spring 2008 at an event held at the Royal Society, London. Our challenges received explicit support from Professor John Beddington, Chief Scientific Adviser to Her Majesty’s Government, as well as an acknowledgement, echoed by the audience, that it is vitally important that we meet those challenges.
We now welcome your views on our proposed Delivery Plan, particularly the Science Topics and Topic Objectives, which are focused on our high level scientific challenges. Following this consultation exercise, which closes on Thursday 27th November, CEH's new Delivery Plan will be published in December 2008.
Thank you for taking the time to consider our Delivery Plan. Please forward your comments by e-mailing our enquiries service.
