CEH's Wallingford Library
... has a collection of 15,000 books and reports as well as over 400 periodical titles. The main emphasis of the collection is hydrology, water quality and water resources including engineering hydrology, but also covered are climate change, meteorology and other ecological and environmental topics. Historical material includes the Hurst Collection on Nile hydrology and the Rofe Collection of early water legislation. The library also provides services for British Geological Survey (BGS) staff based in Wallingford and local Met Office staff and there is a small collection of books belonging to the BGS.
Visitors
... are welcome to use the Library by prior appointment during the hours 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Visitors may use the Library's photocopying and CD-ROM facilities for which a fee may be payable. WiFi internet access is also available.
