CEH's Lancaster Library

CEH's Lancaster Library provides the latest information to support scientific work in the subject areas of: climate change; environmental chemistry; ecology of freshwaters and soil; vegetation, ecosystems and land use change; environmental pollution on land and in freshwaters; radioactivity and radioactive pollution; and microbiology of terrestrial and aquatic life.

Access is provided via online databases and an extensive collection of scientific journals, books, maps, CDRoms and other forms of media.

External visitors

Visitors, students and researchers may use the library between the hours of 9.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, by making an appointment in advance. Please contact: Jeanette Coward: 01524 595800.
