The CEH Information Gateway
The new CEH Information Gateway provides researchers and the wider public with access to a wide range of environmental data.
Created by CEH's Environmental Information Data Centre (EIDC), the CEH Information Gateway allows users to find, view and access data resources held by the EIDC and other data providers in the UK and beyond.
Our ability to provide direct access to environmental data is continuing to improve. Working with our partners, we are making more and more datasets available via the CEH Information Gateway over the forthcoming months and years.
What does the CEH Information Gateway do?
It enables researchers and others to:
- Search the data catalogue read descriptions of the nature and scope of datasets found
- Overlay maps of key spatial datasets – those marked with this icon
- Download key datasets subject to terms and conditions of use – those marked with this icon
- Create a personal account to save search terms and give datasets ratings
